Salesforce stock has significantly underperformed the market in 2025. Hurt by the “AI is going to eat software” narrative, it has lost around a quarter of its value. However, Salesforce is active in the AI space itself and over the last year it has been quietly rolling out powerful solutions designed to help enhance enhance its offering and generate growth. Here's what we learned about these AI solutions, and the company's prospects, at its Dreamforce 2025 conference, which took place in mid-October.
The Launch of Agentforce 360
At Dreamforce 2025, Salesforce launched “Agentforce 360.” This is the latest version of its agentic AI platform, which was initially launched in October 2024. Available globally, Agentforce 360 can be used across every business function (sales, service, marketing, supply chain, etc.). The goal is to connect humans and AI agents in one trusted system, empowering every company to operate with unprecedented intelligence and speed.
Agentforce 360 has several powerful new features including:
Agentforce Builder: A conversational development studio that lets teams design, test, and deploy AI agents using natural language.
Agentforce Vibes: A coding tool that allows users to build apps and dashboards using natural language prompts.
Agentforce Voice: This integrates two-way voice communication directly into the agent workflows.
Salesforce believes that Agentforce 360 is the “future of the enterprise.” Powered by its Data 360 platform - a trusted data foundation for all AI agents - it puts AI and data at the center of every interaction.

New Partnerships with OpenAI and Anthropic
At Dreamforce, Salesforce also announced that it had expanded its partnerships with OpenAI and Anthropic and integrated their AI models directly into the Agentforce 360 platform. The OpenAI partnership allows users to access Agentforce 360 directly inside ChatGPT to work with data and build Tableau visualizations. Meanwhile, Anthropic's Claude models will be available to customers in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, and cybersecurity through Salesforce's secure cloud environment. With powerful AI technology from these tech firms, the company is hoping to appeal to a wider range of businesses including those in heavily regulated industries.
More Customers Are Using Agentforce
In terms of Agentforce 360 adoption, Salesforce advised that 12,000 customers are now using the platform. Some names1 it highlighted here included:
Reddit: Using Agentforce, Reddit has been able to deflect 46% of support cases and cut resolution times by 84%, reducing average response time from 8.9 minutes to 1.4 minutes.
Adecco: With Agentforce, employment services firm Adecco has been able to handle 51% of candidate conversations outside of standard working hours via AI agents.
OpenTable: Restaurant booking company OpenTable was able to resolve 70% of diner and restaurant inquiries autonomously using Agentforce.
As a result of the increased adoption, revenues in this area of the business are rising rapidly. In the latest quarter, ended July 31, the company generated $440 million of annual recurring revenue (ARR) from agentic AI2.
Higher Long-Term Growth Expected
Given the success that Salesforce is having with Agentforce, the company now expects annual revenue of more than $60 billion by 20302. This figure - which excludes the impact of the recent Informatica acquisition - represents an increase of 58% from fiscal year 2025. Going into the event, analysts had been expecting revenue of approximately $58.4 billion by 20303. So, the revenue forecast was above Wall Street’s estimates.
Note that Salesforce is also aiming to generate high levels of profitability in the years ahead. By the end of fiscal 2030, it is targeting a “Rule of 40” score of 50.

Increased Shareholder Returns Announced
Finally, the company unveiled a $7 billion share buyback over next six months. This comes after the company announced a $20 billion buyback in September.
