In late October, Nvidia held its GTC Washington DC conference1. The event - which in the past has been called the “Super Bowl of AI” - didn’t disappoint; not only did the company lay out its vision for the future but it also announced a range of exciting partnerships designed to accelerate the adoption of its AI technology.
Below, we’ll look at some of the highlights from the AI conference. We’ll also look at how Wall Street analysts have reacted to the event.
Nvidia’s AI Vision
At GTC Washington DC, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang framed AI as a new industrial revolution. The central theme of the event was that America's ability to scale AI infrastructure will be crucial in this new technological era.
During his keynote, Huang discussed some of the exciting applications of artificial intelligence such as AI agents, self-driving vehicles, and humanoid robots. He also talked about how data centers will become “AI factories” and how Nvidia will play a major role in the development of these factories, not just with its high-powered GPUs but also with its Omniverse DSX blueprints for data center development.
Huang said that for AI to succeed, there will need to be two major platform shifts - a shift from general purpose computing to accelerated computing and a shift from classical handwritten software to artificial intelligence. He noted here that these platform shifts are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Nvidia to start innovating with American technology.

Strategic Partnerships with US Tech Firms
To that end, Nvidia has launched a range of partnerships with US companies to accelerate the adoption of its technology across various industries. Some companies it has partnered with include:
Uber: Nvidia is partnering with Uber2 to scale the world’s largest level 4-ready mobility network. With its autonomous driving platforms and software, the company is planning to support Uber in scaling its global autonomous fleet to 100,000 vehicles over time, starting in 2027.
Palantir: Nvidia is collaborating with Palantir3 to build a first-of-its-kind integrated technology stack for operational AI. This will include capabilities, reference workflows, automation features, and customizable, specialized AI agents to accelerate and optimize complex enterprise and government systems.
Joby Aviation: Nvidia has selected Joby Aviation4 as the aviation launch partner for its new IGX Thor platform. This collaboration will advance development of Joby’s autonomous flight technology, Superpilot, across military and civil platforms.
CrowdStrike: Nvidia announced that it is collaborating with CrowdStrike5 to develop always-on, continuously learning AI agents for cybersecurity. The aim is to defend critical infrastructure across cloud, data center, and edge environments.
Other Partnerships
In addition to these partnerships, Nvidia announced a strategic partnership with telecommunications firm Nokia6 to enable development and deployment of next generation AI-native mobile networks and AI networking infrastructure. This will see Nvidia’s AI-RAN products added to Nokia’s RAN portfolio, enabling communication service providers to launch AI-powered 5G-Advanced and 6G networks.
Nvidia also announced a major partnership with the US Department of Energy7 (DOE) to build seven new AI supercomputers and support the DOE’s mission of developing AI capabilities to drive technological leadership across US security, science, and energy applications. One of these computers, the “Solstice System,” will feature a record-breaking 100,000 Blackwell GPUs.
Meanwhile, in the quantum computing space, Nvidia announced the launch of NVQLink8 - an open system architecture for combining GPU computing with quantum processors to build accelerated quantum supercomputers. This technology will enable supercomputing labs in the US to connect to quantum processors, allowing researchers to build hybrid quantum-classical systems and accelerate next-generation applications in chemistry and materials science.
High Demand for Blackwell GPUs
It’s worth noting that Jensen Huang touched on demand for the company’s Blackwell chips at the GTC event. Here, he said that demand remains very high, with six million Blackwell GPUs shipped in the first three-and-a-half quarters of production. Currently, Huang expects $500 billion in GPU sales over the next five quarters, split between Blackwell and next-generation Rubin chips. That’s five times the growth of Hopper, the company’s previous GPU.
New Price Targets for Nvidia Stock
Since the GTC Washington DC event, analysts have been scrambling to increase their price targets9 for Nvidia stock. The highest price target on Wall Street is now $350 - that’s from analysts at Loop Capital. Looking beyond that forecast, Cantor Fitzgerald and Melius Research have price targets of $300 while BofA Securities has a target of $275. Currently, the average price target is $227. That’s roughly 10% above the current share price, which suggests that the consensus is that Nvidia stock is likely to continue rising.
