The company’s shares surged 22% in after-hours trading on Monday following Palantir’s quarterly numbers, beating expectations across the board.

Total revenue for 2025 is forecasted to range from $3.74 billion to $3.76 billion, while revenue for the March quarter is estimated to be around $860 million, both figures surpassing analysts’ expectations.
US revenue advanced 52% to $558 million, driven by sharp gains in both the commercial and government segments.
Total customers grew to 711 or 43% year-over-year.
Palantir’s growth has been fueled by the increased adoption of its AI-powered software among commercial and government clients.
Earnings per share (EPS) were up annually by 75% to 14 cents in Q4, beating Wall Street’s forecast of 11 cents.
“I think one of the obvious lessons of DeepSeek R1, is something that we’ve been saying for the last two years, which is that the models are commoditizing.” Palantir CEO Alex Karp said, adding “… they’re also getting more similar, and the price of inference is dropping like a rock.”
The Denver-based company, which sells AI software to manage and analyze large amounts of data, stands to benefit from, AI large language models becoming “a commodity”.
Tariffs ordered by President Trump on Saturday could also help drive demand for the company’s analytics services.
Palantir began as a government contractor to help agencies make sense of a flood of data, but it now has a healthy commercial business, making up 46% of companywide revenue in the last 12 months.
The biggest worry for investors is whether Palantir can grow fast enough to justify its sky-high valuation. The forward Price-to-earnings ratio is over 181, rich, to say the least.
For now, the market is pricing the company to dominate the enterprise AI market.
Theoretically, Palantir can help almost any company in the world that utilizes data, but it is impossible to estimate its total addressable market.
Over the last year, the stock is up 400%, compared to Nasdaq’s 20%.
