The strategy seeks to achieve long-term growth by trading event-driven catalysts such as IPOs, earnings, M&A, analyst upgrades, and insider activity in U.S. small- and mid-cap stocks. With a typical holding period of 1–2 days, it primarily takes long positions but may go short selectively. When opportunities are scarce, the strategy shifts exposure to broad U.S. indices.
