Can the Magnificent Seven Still Power U.S.

The Short Contango Long Gold Investment Strategy is actively managed and seeks to maximise returns by combining (A) a 100% long position in gold and (B) short positions in the VIX Index, natural gas and crude oil, which have historically often been in “contango”. The short exposure targets 20% – 40% per asset class and is capped at 100% each (on a leverage -adjusted basis). “Contango” refers to a situation in which futures contracts with further expiries are more expensive than futures contracts with shorter expiries.
Contango capture paired with a core gold allocation. Two distinct return streams. A different risk profile from equity-based strategies.
Short exposure scales with opportunity. Leans in when contango is pronounced. Steps aside when conditions shift. Always deliberate.
Contango erodes the value of long futures holders every day. This strategy is purpose-built to sit on the other side of that trade. Systematic. Repeatable.
