Die jüngste Rallye hat den Relative Strength Indicator (RSI) in den extrem überkauften Bereich gedrückt und am Donnerstag einen Wert von 83 % erreicht. Der RSI-Index hat seit der Börsennotierung von Tesla nur vier Mal höhere Werte erreicht, woraufhin starke und deutliche Rückgänge folgten.
Die stark überkauften Momentum-Bedingungen sind eine dringende Warnung für kurzfristig orientierte Händler, da der Gummibandeffekt wahrscheinlich jederzeit einsetzen wird. Für den sehr volatilen Aktienkurs bedeutet dies, dass nach Bildung eines kurzfristigen Höchststands innerhalb weniger Tage ein Rückgang von über 10 % zu verzeichnen ist. Solche überkauften Werte sind mit Blow-Off-Tops verbunden und bieten Händlern ein einwandfreies Timing.
